We Are FACE

#FACE Families With Children And Elderly was formed at the intersection of responsibility and silence when ordinary citizens realised that preventable harm had become normalised. Behind this movement are parents, professionals, workers, and survivors who believe that a society is judged by how safely its most vulnerable can exist in public. This platform exists to question failed assumptions, confront uncomfortable truths, and insist that compassion must be guided by evidence. By sharing stories, data, and collective resolve, we seek to restore balance between human dignity, public safety, and ethical responsibility in shared spaces.

Our Story

How We Began: From Silence to Collective Action

#FACE is a nationwide, citizen-led public safety movement created to address a growing but ignored crisis on India’s streets. It began when parents, professionals, workers, and survivors of dog attacks recognised a shared reality: everyday movement had become unsafe for children and vulnerable people. What started as concern grew into collective action. The movement exists to document lived experiences, challenge failed policies, and advocate humane, evidence-based solutions that protect public health, restore safe streets, and uphold the dignity and rights of all communities.
